Here we go
Well, the day has finally arrived. After 18 months of ideas and planning we get to the wall today.
The sense is one of real excitement mixed with some trepidation at what is to come. However we would not have got here without the tremendous support of those at home and we are hugely grateful for that and for the great notes of encouragement on the blog.
It is now 7.50am and we are packing before breakfast, so here goes......

Kevin, the blog is FANTASTIC! Well done to you for sorting it all; it's great to sign on and find out what you're all up to.
Hope the day went well, bet it was/will be a quiet dinner this evening with everyone exhausted with either the walking or the heat exhaustion!
