Good Luck

Dear Trekkers,

When Kevin first described his vision of trekking the Great Wall of China in aid of these two wonderful charities, I was compelled to get involved and help where I could. Of course I'd have loved to have joined you (well, I would say that, wouldn't I), but unfortunately work commitments (and fitness - Ed) keep me from being there. But I know those from my team have played and will play their full part in making this a successful, fun and safe event.

I also trust the team can make all the new technology work to ensure that those at home and school watching on the internet can keep right up to date with progress (no pressure guys, but it would be a bit embarrassing if an IT team can't make it work!). I eagerly await the progress map and the results of the photo selection committee each night!

Of course these treks are not designed to be easy to achieve. From time to time each of you I am sure will swing through your own personal highs and lows. That's where teamwork comes into it - don't forget to support others who may be going through their own personal moment of crisis! And of course please remember, however tough it may be and however high the hurdles may be for you, there are many in this life who have much tougher and higher hurdles to get over. And that, after all, is why you're all there.

Have a fantastic trip

Paul Mason

Paul - thank you so much for your encouraging comments and for all your support.

We would not be where we are without this support and fantastic input from BP. The Trek has gone from strength to strength during preparations and training and I really think we have got a great team. I have found the 'journey' so far overwhelming to say the least! And now the time has almost arrived ..... !!

Lets go for it guys!!

Paul,
Thanks for your comments - very insightful, and yes a good Team is greater than any individual. Thanks for your support also over the past year or so - we appreciate it, actions speak louder than words.
From all of the Team - Thanks
