2nd Day Over

We are on the coach having just completed the day in The Black Dragon Paw
Park. We started with, what Nick our guide described last night, "as a
gentle incline, almost imperceptible, as you walk up without noticing it".
Nick is now know to the Trek China crew as "the lying b*stard!".

We have treked through undergrowth reminiscent of the jungle, scaled the
pass beneath the sholder of the Black Dragon and took 10 minutes out to
float in inner tubes on a pool at the head of the valley. The path down
was far more of a conventional nature with only one up bit to add to the
slightly sweaty T shirts. Most welcome noodles in the car park at the end,
now an hour and a half to the next hotel.

Thanks for all the coments on the blog posts, we are reading them and they
are really cheering us up, and providing a link back to home and our loved
ones.

Cheers.

Andrew, Ann & Simon.

Well done all! Good to hear you've started with the games; have you done the "whose got the worst blister?" tournament yet?!

Remember, an army marches on its stomach, so the rest of you will have to cope with Paul's unfair advantage!!

Hope Claire's not being toooo enthusiastic!

Best Wishes to all. Buddy sends his love to Christine!!

To the intrepid three (Ann,Andrew & Simon)
Just switched on for our daily fix of Trek China. Its as though we were there without the pain and effort. The pictures are amazing, this technology thing is great. Seeing the obvious effort that people are putting into the walk we doubt that anyone will gain weight on this "holiday". By the time you read this you will be half way there. Keep up the good work. Just keep thinking of Crete.
Must go and make tea for the builders.
Love Mum & Dad

PHOTOS. Please post a link to see todays pics, cant find them.
Aw no, now everyone has jumped on the "take the p*ss out of Paul" band wagon. He'll start to take this personally so I think we should stop. JOKE! He loves it really and no doubt you're all ribbing him something rotten out there so why shouldnt we join in online! :o)

Hi Guys,
never trust a guide or worse "a officer with a map" a dangerous combination and when he says "follow me chaps" that the time to go in the opposite direction...!! Great to hear you are all having a fantastic time walking, back here I'm having the time of my life playing with the kittens Inca & Mowgli. Come next spring the grey squirrels had better look out, theres two new sheriffs in town..!!

Well done everyone - photos are fantastic to see. Say Hello to Paul & Martin Humphreys from their big sister - I am watching their progress and hoping that we manage to get at least one 'sensible' photograph of them both! I will try to follow progress from Italy, but if not, will catch up when we are back home. Good Luck to everyone.

I'm loving the photo's, I had no idea it would be so tropical. And I'm very impressed that you're both still smiling!
