Vaccinations
I've been to see the nurse today and received the DPT jab. I need to return for the Hepatitis A & Typhoid fever. I'm just wondering which jabs you have been recommended and which you are planning to receive?

We have been advised to get the following:
Diptheria, Tetanus and Hepatitis A (which I think comes as a single jab - although you have to have a couple of them).
Our Occupational Health Team however also advise Hepatitis B (endemic to China), Typhoid (water borne virus) and Rabies.
Sadly all my booster shots had expired and my arm is now like a pin cushion!!
Now I've checked my Vaccination Record - the truth!!
Combined Hepatitis A & Typhoid Fever: 1 Shot
Combined Diptheria/Tetanus/Polio (DTP): 1 Shot
Hepatitis B: 3 Shots over 1 month
Rabies: 3 shots over 1 month
Boosters in 1, 2 & 3 years time...
My arm is still sore from Wed. Orginally I thought it was from the wakeboarding.
At least now I know I have loads to look forward to!
Arm! I think I was tricked, couldn't sit down for a week!
